The Combat Steel Traditional Kung Fu Spear is available in 84″ and 90″ overall length. This spear is used in traditional internal and external kung fu training for demonstration and competition.
Spear Head: This spear head is hand-forged of stainless steel with brass bands on the collar and receiver. It is stiff with a semi pointed tip and unsharpened edges. Includes a large red tassel. For these custom spears, the heads are re-shaped to make them much stronger, improving their ability to penetrate.
Shaft: Flexible White Wax Wood is used for this spear’s shaft. It is fairly lightweight and tapered very slightly. The wood is hand-selected to be as straight as possible. Diameter at the thick end of the shaft is approximately 1 3/8″. Overall length of the spear, including shaft and head, is approximately 82″. The spear can be shortened at the customer’s discretion by sawing off the unwanted length.
The Combat Steel Traditional Kung Fu Spear weighs approximately 2.35 – 2.6 lbs and the staff’s diameter at the thick end of the shaft is approximately 1 3/8″.
