The Tang Dynasty Straight Sword has a very unique design with the crane motif, bamboo, and bamboo lucky flower. This sword is made of Damascus Steel by the historical Shen Guang Long Sword Factory in China. These swords are designed for collectors and experienced martial artist.
Blade: The Tang Dynasty straight sword has a unique diamond pattern 8 sided blade that is hand-forged Damascus Steel with a mirror polished finish. It has a full-tang making it strong and sturdy. The blade is sharp and one side has the stamp of the Shen Guang Long sword factory.
Scabbard and Fittings: The fittings, guard, and pommel made of brass are detailed with the crane and twin cranes to symbolize the longevity of this sword. The guard has a protruding bamboo stem with the bamboo leafs at both ends symbolizing the strength. The fitting also show the bamboo lucky flower to bring luck. The scabbard and handle are made from aged Ebony, making them both very strong and aesthetically pleasing with a very dark, almost black wood color. Includes brown deluxe tassel and lanyard.
