The Three Section Staff Foam Padded sections are constructed of PVC wrapped in black foam. This ensures light-weight and increases safety in a beginner’s training. Each section is approximately 24″ in length and approximately 1.25” in diameter. Overall length is approximately 85″.

Recommended use: This weapon is made for use by beginning practitioners of three-section staff. While learning, it is best to use a foam-padded three-section staff to prevent injury and expedite progress (both injuries and anxiety of being hit can delay improvement). Once the practitioner is comfortable and has sufficient basic skill, he/she should move on to wood three section staffs such as oak or white wax wood.
